Instructive Qualification:

Must have Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. More likely than not passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equal with qualification for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

Knowledge of Tamil:- Candidates ought to have satisfactory information of Tamil.

TNPSC VAO Exam 2016 Pattern:-

TNPSC VAO exam will comprise of a solitary paper with the accompanying subjects of SSC standard

General studies - (75 items)
+
Basics of Village Administration (25 items)
+
Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (20 items)
+
General Tamil / General English (80 items)

Total - (200 things)

Term of Examination:- 3 Hours

Greatest Marks:- 300

Least Qualifying Marks for determination:- 90

Note:

i. Two sorts of question papers will be set.

Sort 1 General Studies + General Tamil will contain inquiries on General Studies (75 things), Basics of Village Administration (25 things), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (20 things) and General Tamil (80 things).

Sort 2 (General Studies + General English) will contain inquiries on General Studies (75 things), Basics of Village Administration (25 things), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (20 things) and General English (80 things).

ii. Hopefuls are given the alternative to pick either General Tamil or General English for noting the 80 things separated from noting the 120 (75+25+20) things on General Studies, Basics of Village Administration and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test.

iii. The 80 inquiries on General Tamil/General English will be set in the particular dialects and the staying 120 inquiries will be set both in English and Tamil.
