I want to know the eligibility criteria to apply for Sub-Inspector (SI) post in Tamilnadu Police so can you tell me?

TNPSC Police Recruitment Board invites application every year for recruitment to fill the Sub-Inspector (SI) posts.

TN police SI Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have completed their 10th and 12th class from any organization or must have been graduated from any university.

Physical Qualification

Height of the male should be 167.5 cms and the chest must be 81 to 86 cms.

All the applicants who have applied for ASI post should not have following problems
Flat foot
Knock-knee
And eye sight problem

Age: Candidates who wants to apply for the post should have the below age:

Men: 20 to 28 years and there will be age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Women: 18 to 28 years and there will be age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Further age relaxation will be given according to the government rules.
