Here is the details of Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam:-


Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam also known as UP PGMEE is conducted each year for admission to (various post graduate medical courses like M.D.S. and M.D. / M.S. / PG Diploma courses in various post graduate medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam Pattern

UP PG MEE will consists of 2 papers of 2 hours each consisting of 150 multiple choice questions each.

Paper I will consists question from the Pre and Para-clinical subjects
Paper II will consists question from the Clinical subjects.

There will be 4 options for each question.
A candidate will get 4 marks for each correct answer.
There will be negative marking of the 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

Admission criteria

UP PG medical seat distribution Admission criteria

For 50% All India Quota seats MCC will conduct counselling of UP PG
medical admission based on NEET PG scores

For 50% state quota seats On the basis of scores in NEET PG, DMET, UP will
conduct counselling for colleges in the state

For deemed/central universities DGHS on behalf of MCC will conduct seat
allotment for admission to all the seats in deemed/central universities

For private universities State counselling committee will organise
allotment rounds for admission to private colleges
