Re: UR Category In AIPMT

NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under-Graduation) reservation criteria reflects the percentage of seats that are reserved for the scheduled castes(SC), scheduled tribes (ST), other backward castes (OBC), economically weaker section (EWS) and for candidates with physical disabilities (PwD) for admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses through NEET.

Reservation of seats in Government Medical Colleges under 15% all India Quota makes the student eligible to take admission in Government Medical & Dental College across various states except Jammu & Kashmir.

The states fill up 15% of the Government Medical & Dental Seats on the basis of NEET Counselling and rest 85% seats on the basis of State Level Counselling based on NEET Score.

All India 15% Quota Seats in all Deemed Universities will also be based on NEET Counselling to be held by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
