MCA is not an arts degree. It is not an engineering or science degree also. MCA is basically a professional degree which is technical in nature.

MCA is related to computers and programming, that is why it is technical in nature.

In the job industry MCA is considered almost equal to B.Tech degree.
Salary will be close to the B.Tech applicants . Also they will be eligible or the M.Tech course after completing MCA.
