The UPTU entrance exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow as it is the conducting authority of UPTU examination.

The examination is the state level exam and a gateway of various UG and PG courses offered by the most of the institutions of Uttar Pradesh.

All IITs and NITs located in the limit of Uttar Pradesh refer to the score of JEE Main as the national level examination.

The UPTU counselling has commenced from 24th June, 2016.

Closing date of Application – 28th March 2016 (up to 5 p.m.)
dates of Correction Window – 28th March, 2016 – 30th March, 2016
Declaration of the Admit Card – 8th April 2016
Date of Examination – 17th April, 23rd April, 24th April 2016
Result date – 28th May, 2016
Counselling date – 24th June 2016
