Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Geologist and Geo-Scientist Examination qualification points of interest are given beneath…

1) Nationality: A hopeful must be either :

i. a Citizen of India, or

ii. a subject of Nepal, or

iii. a subject of Bhutan, or

iv. a Tibetan displaced person who approached India before the first January, 1962 with the goal of for all time settling in India. on the other hand

v. a man of Indian starting point who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the goal of for all time settling in India.

Given that a hopeful having a place with classifications (b), (c), (d) and (e) above should be a man in whose support an endorsement of qualification has been issued by the Government of India.

A hopeful for whose situation an authentication of qualification is fundamental, might be admitted to the examination however the offer of name ment might be given simply after the essential qualification testament has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.

2) Age: Candidate age must be between 21 years and 32 years for Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist posts, between 21 years and 35 years for Jr Hydrogeologist posts.

3) Age Relaxation:

i. 5 years in the event of SC/ST applicants

ii. 3 years for OBC applicants.

iii. Age is also relaxable by 5 years for those candidates who had customarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division in the State of Jammu and Kashmir amid the period 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989.

iv. 3 years for Defense Services work force (impaired in operations amid threats with any outside nation or in an exasperates range and discharged as an outcome thereof).

v. 5 years if there should arise an occurrence of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs.

vi. 10 years on account of visually impaired, hard of hearing quiet and Orthopaedically impeded people.

4) Educational Qualification:

(a). For Geologists Gr "An" in Geological Survey of India: Masters Degree in Geological Science or Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource administration or Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Petroleum Geosciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology from a college joined by an Act of the focal or State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution set up by an Act of Parliament or pronounced to be considered college under segment 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956).

(b). For Geophysicists Gr "An" in Geological Survey of India: M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Investigation Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University joined by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or other instructive foundations built up by an Act of the Parliament or announced to be esteemed colleges under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

(c). For Chemists Gr "An" in Geological Survey of India: M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistryor Analytical Chemistry from a University consolidated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature or other instructive Institutes set up by an Act of the Parliament or announced to be regarded Universities under segment 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 i.e. perceived University.

(d). For Junior Hydrogeologists (Scientist-B) Group "An" in Central Ground Water Board: Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or marine Geology from a from a college consolidated by an Act of the focal or State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution built up by an Act of Parliament or proclaimed to be esteemed college under area 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Masters Degree in Hydrogeology from a perceived college.

5) Physical gauges: Candidates must be physically fit by models for admission to Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination according to the directions indicated in the examination warning.
