Hey as per my idea yes UPES a good university for BTECH as The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies is an Indian University located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand known traditionally for its education and research in fields of energy & power.

Eligibility

Candidate should secure Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

Candidate should secure Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level also mandatory

Selection criteria

Qualify UPES Engineering Aptitude Test

Followed by centralized counselling on the basis of rank obtained in UPESEAT
