I am planning to do my higher studies from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies so please tell me is this University fake or not?

UPES is not a fake University; it is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956

It is the first university under Public-Private Partnership.

UGC is a statutory body of the Government of India, established in 1956
