University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2020 Application Form has been released. It will be organized by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun for admission in B. Tech programmes in various 37 disciplines. It will be conducted as online mode (computer based) exam. The university also gives admission in engineering courses on the basis of JEE Main scores & board merit.

UPESEAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

One applying for the admission will be required to have an age of less than or equivalent to 22 years i.e., they should be born on or after October 1, 1998 to be eligible to apply.

1. UPESEAT Entrance Exam 2020:

One applying for the admission in the university through the entrance exam conducted by the University will have to meet the following eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2020:

One should have secured at least 50% marks in their Class 10th & 12th both

One should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in their Class 12th


2. Board Exams:

One applying for the admission in the University through the Board exams will be required to meet following eligibility criteria:

One should have secured at least 50% marks in their Class 10th & 12th both

One should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in their Class 12th


3. JEE Main 2020:

One willing to take admission in the University through JEE Main 2020 will be required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

One should have successfully qualified JEE Main 2020

One should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Class 10th & 12th both

One should have also secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in their Class 12th


UPESEAT 2020 Exam Pattern

Mode:
The mode of exam will be Online (Computer based) mode.

Duration:
The duration of exam will be of 3 hours.

Type of Questions:
There will be only MCQ’s questions asked in the examination.

Total No. of Questions:
There will be total 200 questions.

Medium:
The question paper will be in English language.

Marking:
Each correct answer will consist of 1 mark & there will be no negative marking.
