Re: University Of The Pacific Learning Objectives
On your concern buddy I will help you here to get the University Of The Pacific Students Learning Objectives ,so that you can go through them easily. Here I’m telling you students learning objectives of the university The University wide objectives approved by Academic Council are: Major Field competence Critical and creative thinking Communication Intercultural and global perspectives Collaboration and leadership Ethical reason Programs outcome These are statements of what students should know and be able to do upon successful completion of the program, and these are the educational outcomes for which programs will hold themselves accountable and be held accountable by the university and by regional and/or specialized accreditors. There are many resources on how to write program outcomes (see bibliography for sources and appendices for examples), so this guide focuses on what they are and their role in assessing and improving student lear Courses outcome Skills that contribute to the program outcomes. For example, if one of the program outcomes is that “Students will demonstrate research skills,” different courses could include outcomes such as, “Students will formulate a research question or hypothesis,” “Students will choose appropriate methods to answer their research question or test their hypothesis” and “Students will conduct a review of the literature” as well as other major components of the program outcome. Course outcomes throughout the program would show how students are introduced to the knowledge and skills, build upon their knowledge and develop their skills, and ultimately demonstrate mastery of the program outcome in an upper level course. Outcomes in lower level courses will likely focus more on acquisition of foundational knowledge and skills that contribute to the program outcomes, with more complexity in the outcomes as students progress to upper division courses.
