The National Defence Academy is a premier joint training Institution and center of excellence for producing junior officers, for the Indian armed forces, and armed forces of friendly foreign countries. NDA imparts training to young men, who choose the Armed Forces as their career. The National Defence Academy is established for to provide academic training of the highest quality in order to equip cadets with appropriate qualification as a foundation for their service careers. The National Defence Academy is also to carry out focused training to enable cadets to achieve the requisite physical standards, with proficiency in troop games. Main objective of National Defence Academy:  Objective of National Defence Academy: The NVA is Providing highest quality academic training in order to equip cadets with best possible foundation for their service careers. Imparting focused training sessions so as to enable cadets to achieve the requisite physical standards, with proficiency in troop games. Emphasize on overall personality development of a Cadet by inculcating a sense of self-discipline, honour, integrity, camaraderie and spirit de corps. Conduct high quality service training to enable cadets to have a substantial edge over their counterparts during their service careers.
