The Government of Tamil Nadu ordered Act No.(33) of 2008 to accommodate the foundation and consolidation of Teachers Education University in the State of Tamil Nadu for advancing perfection in instructors training. Facilitate the Act became effective from 1.7.2008 by a Gazette Notification issued in G.O.M.S.256, Higher Education (K2) Department, dated 25.6.2008.This University is one of a kind in nature generally to alternate Universities since its task is to advance fabulousness in educator training and deliver dynamic and keen instructors for the advantage of the general public and the country on the loose.

Controls

1. Qualification for Admission to the Course:

An applicant might be qualified for admission to the course prompting the Degree of
Master of Education gave he/she has passed a Bachelors Degree Examination in
Instruction of this University or some other University perceived by the Syndicate as comparable thereto, with at least half stamps in principle and practicals independently.

The premise of choice of possibility for affirmation might be founded on the current controls of the college/Government of Tamil Nadu. Reservation of seats and other concessions for the SC., ST., MBC/DNC, BC, and other exceptional classifications of competitors advised by the Government of Tamil Nadu might be given in understanding the statutory arrangements of the Government of Tamil Nadu in drive every once in a while.

No hopeful might be qualified for the Degree of M.Ed. unless he/she has finished the recommended course of study and has passed the qualifying examination and has fulfilled the Examiners in a thesis.

2. Span:

The course of study should be for a span of ONE scholastic year. There will be 10 days for confirmation and an additional 10 days for examination only. The whole course work will be for 1080 Hours.
