You need to over the complete syllabus without leaving any considerable portion, as it may turn out that many questions might arise from the units which we might have not touched.

Refer to standard text books for the portion given. One good book for aptitude is the one written by the famous R.S Aggarwal who has comprehensively put the aptitude sections in lucid style. For higher references, a book written by Arun Sharma is popular.
For the English section and general awareness, along with any standard books, which are plenty in the market, refer to other competitive exam question papers as you would get a broad idea of what might be asked.

Do Practice many problems as possible and cover as many different types and situations few problems as possible. This would enable you to comprehend the question asked quickly in short time.

In this exam, speed and accuracy hold the key. You have to enhance your speed of answering the question also you have to be accurate in answering the correct answers.

Do study other exam question papers also like the GATE/CSAT/Bank PO etc for both practice and to get an idea of what might be asked.
