TIFR Demand Draft

I am paying the fee for admission in TIFR through Demand Draft. Please tell me about the instructions which I have to follow to submit the Demand Draft and give me the complete address where I have to send the DD to the TIFR office? Thanks.

Can you tell me if one could pay fee for Graduate School Admissions (GS-2018) at TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) Mumbai Campus?

The Graduate Programme at TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) is classified into the following Subjects - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer & Systems Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability) and Science Education.

It is conducted at the Mumbai campus and various National Centres of TIFR. The Institute runs a graduate programme leading to the award of Ph.D., Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. as well as M.Sc. degree in certain subjects.

Application Fee & Payment

Application Fee (Non-Refundable):

Male Candidates:
Rs 600/- for online applications
Rs 650/- for manual applications

Female Candidates:
Rs 100/- for online and manual applications

Fee Payment
Application fee can be paid online through internet banking or by Debit/Credit Card or by sending Demand Draft.


Online Payment:

After the online payment transaction, one logged in to account on website by using reference code as user id and check the payment status of application.
An auto email was sent by the system acknowledging the payment.

Demand Draft:

DDs were sent by speed post/courier with name, reference code and telephone number written behind it.

Biology:
DD was drawn on State Bank of India in favour of "National Centre for Biological Science" payable at Bangalore.

Other Subjects:
DD was drawn on State Bank of India in favour of "Tata Institute of Fundamental Research" payable at Mumbai.
