NIMCET demand draft

hello sir my sister is filling the application form of NIMCET Exam but she doesn’t know that amount paid for this exam as demand draft so please provide information about application fee of this exam.

National Institutes of Technology (NITs) offers admission in the 3-year full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by the NITs.

Application fee:

The application fee for the entrance examination of the MCA programme is Rs 1000/- for open/OBC and Rs 500/- for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates will have to take demand draft of appropriate amount depending on their category drawn in favour of Director NIT, Kurukshetra - NIMCET, payable at Kurukshetra.

Candidates are advised to write their name, address and mobile/phone number on the reverse side of the demand draft

Mode of Examination

The duration of NIMCET examination will be for a period of two hours

It will consist of 120 multiple choice questions with four choices for each question.

Each correctly answered question will carry four marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to negative onemark.

The candidates have to mark the responses in the OMR sheets at the time of examination.

Candidates have to bring their own HB pencil, eraser and black ball point pen.

Calculators, mobile phones or any other material shall not be allowed in the examination hall.

Distribution Of Questions

The question paper will contain 120 multiple choice questions covering the following topics:

1. Mathematics 40 questions
2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning 55 questions
3. Computer Awareness 10 questions
4. General English 15 questions
