What courses are offered by TIFR CAM (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Centre for Applicable Mathematics) in Bangalore? Tell me about the admission requirement and selection process in TIFR CAM in Bangalore as I want to take admission in it?

The TIFR Centre in Bangalore is a part of the School of Mathematics of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. Admission Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D Programme At present TIFR Centre for Applicable Mathematics admits students for an integrated M.Sc-Ph.D Programme in area of Mathematics. Outstanding BSc students take usual graduate courses and earn both M.Sc degree (after satisfying some additional requirements) as well as Ph.D degree from TIFR. Eligibility- Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for Mathematics are eligible to apply Students who are in the final year of graduation may also apply. Admission Procedure- Admission procedure consist of written test conducted by TIFR Mumbai at one of the several nationwide centres. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for final selection and successful candidates will undergo rigorous course work for two years. The students who complete the two year's course successfully will have an option to continue for Ph.D or exit with an M.Sc Degree Fellowship- The programme offers a scholarship of ₹16000/- per month and a contingency grant of ₹20000/- per annum for the first year. On completion of first year Research Scholars are entitled for scholarship of ₹25000/- per month and a contingency grant of ₹32000/- per annum subject to satisfactory performance. Research Scholars, who complete necessary formalities for registration of PhD, will be entitled for scholarship of ₹28000 per month and a contingency grant o ₹32000 per annum upto sixth year. In case tenure is extended for seventh year Research Scholars will be entitled for ₹14000 per month.
