Thapar University Patiala conducts Entrance Test for admission in B.Tech in January 2013 with following specializations:
Biotechnology,
Chemical Engineering,
Civil Engineering,

Computer Engineering (Chandigarh campus),
Electrical Engineering,
Electronics Instrumentation and Control,
Electronics Communication Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering,
Mechatronics,
Industrial Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board and have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer science/Biology/Biotechnology. For SC/ST candidates minimum passing marks is 55%.
