TET entrance eligibility.

I have done B.Com and B.Ed. Now, I want to give TET entrance test. Tell me its
eligibility criteria.

TET exam is different for all states. I am providing you with the eligibility criteria of
Karnataka state. If you want for any other state let me know.

Eligibility:

Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage:

1. PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks
2. OR PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Teacher for Classes VI- VIII: Elementary Stage:

1. B.A / B.Sc graduate or in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
2. OR B.A / B.Sc graduate with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
3. OR PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
4. OR PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A /B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.
