Syllabus B Ed Entrance Exam IGNOU

I am interested in the field of teaching and for this I am planning to join IGNOU heard that I have to give the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance examination. Will you tell what the Eligibility for IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test and also provide me syllabus so that I can prepare well for exam?

IGNOU provides B.Ed admission based on the basis of score obtained in the IGNOU BEd Entrance Test, which is an all India admission test.

IGNOU B.Ed Entrance examination aims to assess the general knowledge and subject competency of test takers.

Duration:- The minimum duration of the programme is two years. However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the programme will be five years.

Eligibility for IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test :

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree

Syllabus and pattern of exam:





The final admission to the program shall be subject to their rank in the merit list in the Entrance Test and production of proof of their eligibility at the time of last date of submission of application for admission to B.Ed programme along with original certificates and programme fee

The number of seats of each PSC is limited to 50 only

Fees:

Rs 20,000/- for the entire programme in lump sum in the first year (under revision)
