Here I am giving you information about important subjects for PHD entrance examination organized by Amity university below :

Amity University PHD Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test shall be of one and half hour duration (i.e. 90 minutes)
70 marks consisting of 95 objective type of questions.
The Entrance Test will have two Sections

SECTION 1 –
GENERAL
Section 1 shall be common to all the Applicants for testing the General Knowledge & Research Aptitude, covering questions from following area:
General Awareness
English Language
Logical Reasoning
Quantitative Analysis
Data Analysis and Interpretation

50 Questions of Master’s level of 0.5 marks each
WEIGHTAG :: 25 marks

SECTION 2 –
PROGRAM SPECIFIC
Section 2 shall be Program / Subject Specific i.e. as per proposed Ph.D. Programme of the applicant. (viz Management, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Physics, Law, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Microbiology, Psychology, English etc)
45 Questions of Master’s level of 1 mark each
WEIGHTAGE :: 45 marks

Interview by Faculty Research Committee (FRC) 30 marks

Fee Structure for Ph.D programmes:

The Prescribed Fees for Ph.D. Programme is as following:-
1. Registration Fee Rs 10,000/-
2. Security Deposit Rs 10,000/-
3. Academic Fee Rs. 50,000/- per semester for full time
Rs. 25,000/- per semester for part time

Fee for Foreign National candidates are as under:
1. Registration Fee Rs 10,000/-
2. Security Deposit Rs 10,000/-
3. Academic Fee Rs. 75,000/- per semester for full time
Rs. 37,500/- per semester for part time
