Sub Inspector Qualification

I want to become a Sub Inspector for that which Qualification I need, can you please tell me about it ?

UPSC conducts the exams for Sub Inspector post, for applying Sub Inspector exam you need these kinds of eligibility which I am giving you here.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
A candidate must be a citizen of India.
If a candidate is a subject of Nepal or Bhutan is also eligible for that.
If a candidate is a Tibetan refugee who is living in India, before the 1st January, 1962 is also eligible.

Age Limit:
Candidate must have minimum 20 years age.

Maximum age is 25 years.

Relaxation age:
For SC/ST
5 years

For OBC
3 years

Educational Qualification:
A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Physical Efficiency(Endurance) Test (PET)

For male candidates
Walking :
1600 Meters (1.6 Km) in 15 minutes.

Cycling :
08 Km in 30 minutes.

For female candidates:
Walking :
01 Km in 15 minutes.

Cycling :
05 Km in 30 minutes.
