James Cook University of Singapore conducted an eligibility test in IIT Chennai for providing scholarship assistance to students having academic caliber and to study in Singapore. Those who are having above 60% marks in 12th or in UG course can participate in the examination.

The examination was given on 15th April 2012. the pattern of the test is as follows.

Syllabus is the combination of english and aptitude that is antonyms, sentence completion, mathematics and general knowledge.

A* Star India Youth Scholarship

Offered by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (Singapore) Ministry of Education, Singapore

Value of Award
1. Exemption from School and examination fees
2. Annual Allowance of S$2,200 (Secondary Level) and S$2,400(Pre-University Level) with Hostel Accommodation
3. Settling-in allowance of S$400 (once only)
4. Economy class air passage to Singapore and back to home country upon completion of course


SIA Youth Scholarship:

Offered by the SIA Youth Scholarships is offered by Singapore Airlines to outstanding students (completing Standard 10 in the year of application) in India for entry at Pre-University 1 in junior colleges in Singapore.

2. Annual Allowance of S$2,400 per annum with Hostel Accommodation
