Stipend for PhD Students:

Candidates Admitted to the PhD programme (regular) are eligible for a monthly stipend from MHRD of INR 25,000 for the first two years and a monthly stipend of INR 28,000 for the next three years after five years they are eligible for a monthly financial assistance of INR 12,000 for one year.

PhD candidates who do not avail hostel accommodation will be eligible for a house rent allowance (HRA) as per norms.

Opportunities for PhD Students:

Up to five promising PhD Candidates will be funded by DEITY's Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, Under which, the Monthly stipend for the candidate will be INR 31,250 for the first two years, and INR 35,000 for the remaining three years

In Addition, the Candidate will also Receive an Annual Contingency Grant of INR 30,000

PHD Candidates who exhibit outstanding performance during their PhD studies are likely to qualify for various corporate PhD fellowships that provide enhanced monthly stipends and other benefits.
