About the Post

State Bank of India- New York Branch is looking to hire a professional to take on the role of the Compliance Analyst- OFAC in its BSA AML Dept., who will be responsible for helping Manager OFAC in implementing the Compliance guidelines. The analyst will report to Manager (OFAC).

Job Profile

Operate the OFAC desk and respond to real time wire transfers for OFAC related hits;
research and determine potential matches.

Assist BSA AML officer in preparing, updating and maintaining the OFAC risk assessment.

Communicate with correspondent banks on a consistent basis on OFAC failed inquiries, request additional information, documentation and provide updates.

Co-ordinate with Paying & Receiving department to ensure wires alerted for OFAC arereleased and held on time.

Provide backup coverage for released, rejected or blocked wire transactions, Custome rAccounts or proposals.

Preparation and timely submission of daily, monthly, quarterly reports to Management. Timely submission of error-free regulatory reports.

Job Requirement

Experience of 2+ year as a compliance professional with an in depth understanding of
BSA, AML and OFAC with prior experience in sanctions screening and clearance of
intermediary wire OFAC sanctions alerts, generated by internal screening tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex and
sensitive issues to Senior Management.

Ability to build repertoire with internal stakeholders and examiners.

Experience in establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving optimization
opportunities and presenting progress of the same.

Should work well individually and in team. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, analytical approach for problem solution.

Preference:
CAMS or CFCS certification is a plus.
Prior experience in Lexis Nexis Briger Insight XG.
Case Management Application.
