The SSC is officially the manufacturer of worlds fastest car, the Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo super car breaks the record, The 1183hp (882kW) speedster set a new top speed record with an average Vmax of 255.83mph (411.76km/h), 3.11mph (5.01km/h) faster than the unofficial record set by the Bugatti Veyron

In 2009, SSC updated the Ultimate Aero TT, with the new version having an increase in power of 15% over the older model. SSC predicts a top speed of over 270 mph (430 km/h) is possible.
