The Sri Venkateswara University Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of duration 5.5 years.

MBBS Course

Duration 5.5 years

Seats-

(1) Total seats permitted : 150
i. All India Quota : 15% i.e. 22 seats
ii. NRI Category : 15% i.e. 23 seats
iii. Merit Category : 105 seats

Eligibility-

The candidates should have passed two years Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany,
Zoology) / Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained not less than 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.

In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled
Tribes and the Backward Classes the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Bio-technology.

The OC-PH candidates shall have obtained not less than 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Bio-technology.

Candidates should have qualified in NEET (UG) - 2018 conducted by CBSE
Govt. of India

Age: should have completed the minimum age of 17 years by 31st December, 2018.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board or an institution
outside the State shall enclose the Migration Certificate and Eligibility

Admission Process:

1. All India Quota : 15% i.e. 22 seats are to be filled by the Medical Counseling committee (MCC), DGHS, Govt. of India.

2. NRI Category : 23 seats are to be filled by Dr NTRUHS, Vijayawada.

3. Merit Category : The remaining seats (105) to be filled by Dr NTRUHS, Vijayawada.
