Anna University conducts T.N.E.A - Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions for admission in its affiliated Colleges. Here I am providing you the Sports Quota of TNEA:

The purpose of the sports quota is to recognize and give weightage to the sports importance of the candidates and hence marks for sports achievements alone are considered in ranking the candidates.

Seats available for Sports Quota

The Govt. of Tamil Nadu increased the Sports quota seats in Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions. The total numbers of seats in sports quota are 500. 12 seats are in Anna University and the remaining 488 seats are in Anna University of Technologies, Govt., Govt. Aided and Private engineering colleges.

Application Procedure for Sports Quota

To apply for Sports quota, students need to attach the special reservation form for Sports with TNEA application form and copies of the relevant certificates in person to the Secretary TNEA, Chennai.
