Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that at meeting of the Board of Directors of the Corporation held on July 26, 2008.

It was decided that following proposal be recommended to the shareholders at a General Body Meeting: "Issuance of 1 bonus equity share having nominal value of Rs.10/- each, for every 2 equity shares held by the shareholders".
