I will get the information about Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test conducted by Bharathiar University so that you can go through it easily.

Eligibility
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent examination is eligible for this test.

The Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically Challenged (PC) / Visually Challenged (VC) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master's Degree Examination are eligible for this Examination.

Candidates who have appeared (or) will be appearing at the qualifying Master's Degree Examination and whose results are still awaited (or) candidates whose examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.

Such candidates must obtain their P.G. degree Mark sheet within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

Exam Pattern
TNSET will consists of three papers(as given below) to be held on the same day. It will consists of multiple choice objective type questions to be answered on a separate OMR sheet for marking. The candidates, who do not appear in Paper I, will not be permitted to appear in Paper II & Paper III.

Exam Fee
For General Candidate, the Examination Fee is Rs.1000

For Other backward classes (OBC) the Fee is Rs.750 and

For SC/ST/Physically Challenged / Visually Challenged the Exam Fee is Rs.250.
