Selection Process to Apply for IRS

I want to apply for IRS exam can you please provide me the information and selection process of that ?

IRS is Indian Revenue Service.
IRS are the 4th most respected post after IAS,IPS,IFS.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification
An applicant must have a graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Final year degree students are also eligible.

Candidate who has distance education/open university degree is also eligible if the university is a recognized university.

Age limit
Candidate must have age between 21-30 years.
SC/ST candidate must have 21-35 years.
PH candidate must have 21-40 years.

Number of attempts:
General- 4
OBC- 7
PH- 7
SC/ST- No Limit

Selection Process:
Selection is based on two stages:

1.Preliminary Exam
2.Main Exam.

The preliminary examination (prelims) is the process through which candidates are short listed for the main written examination. Candidates qualifying the main (written) exam are called for personal interview. Based on the marks secured in the main (written) and interview.
