The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur also known as IIM Nagpur Founded in the year 2015 It is one of the nineteen Indian Institutes of Management.



The admission process at IIM Nagpur takes into account the candidate's
Past Academic Performance (PAP),
Work Experience (WE),
performance in CAT.


Stage 1: Criteria for Eligibility to be considered for admission to PGP

Minimum CAT 2015 percentile for shortlisting, section-wise

Stage 2: Criteria for Final Selection of the Candidates

Past Academic Performance (PAP

the applicants' academic performance (marks obtained) in 10th Standard Examination, 12th Standard Examination and Bachelor's Degree Examination.

PAP Score for the candidate:

PAP = (0.25*A+0.35*B+0.40*C)/10



b. Work Experience (WE)

For the work experience of completed months x (at the time of CAT 2015 registration), the candidates will be assigned a WE score using the following formula:

WE = 0 for x < 6

WE = 0 for x > 60

WE = x/30 for 6 <= x <= 30

WE = 1 - ((x-30)/30) for 30 < x <= 60


The Final Selection
Selection at this stage will strictly be based on the ranks of the candidates computed separately for each category (General/SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP) on the basis of their Final Scores (FS)
FS =0.50 * (CAT Total Score /Maximum1 CAT Total Score)
+0.30 * (PAP Score) + 0.20 * (WE Score)
