Pay Scale:
Rs.9300 to 34800 with Different Grade Pay


Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering


Age limit:
Candidates must be in between the age of 20-35 years


Age relaxation:
For SC/ST 5 years
For OBC 3 years
For PH 10 years


Examination Fees:
Rs.60 for all candidates except SC/ST/EXS/PH/Women/EBC is required to be sent in the form of Demand Draft / IPO with the application


Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview


Exam Pattern:
The Question will be Consists of Objective type with multiple answers MCQ's Consisting of 150 questions, with a time duration 2hours.

Railway Recruitment Board conducts Railway Engineering Recruitment Exam for selection of Section Engineers.

1. Sr.Section Engineer (P-Way) / Bridge:
Age criteria: 20 to 35 years at 1 January of applying year.
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (OR) A four year course of B.Sc.(Engineering) Civil from a recognized Institution.

2. Sr.Section Engineer (Works):
Age criteria: 20 to 35 years.
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (OR) A four year course of B.Sc. (Engineering) Civil from a recognised Institution.

3. Sr.Section Engineer Estimator/Drawing/ Design (Civil) / Civil Engg Workshop:
Age criteria: 20 to 35 years.
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (OR) A four year course of B.Sc.(Engineering) Civil from a recognised Institution.
Note: Option for specific category i.e. Estimator/ Drawing/Design /Civil Engg.
Workshop will be taken at the time of document verification.

4. Sr.Section Engineer (Design)/Civil:

Age criteria: 20 to 35 years.

Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (OR) A four year course of B.Sc.(Engineering) Civil from a recognised Institution

5. Sr.Section Engineer Production Control Operations (PCO):
Age criteria: 20 years to 35 years.
Education: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering

6. Sr. Section Engineer (Mechanical) (Workshop):
Age criteria: 20 to 35 years.
Education: Degree in Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Mechanical/ Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making/ Automobile/ Production/ Metallurgy/ Foundry Technology/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering
