D. Pharmacy is the Diploma course in Pharmacy which can be pursued after passing the 12th (PCB/PCM).

Scope

After completing the D.Pharmacy course you can register as a Pharmacist by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is granted, so you have the option of opening a medical store which is one of the best options for many.

Other options after the D.Pharmacy are in the Pharmaceutical companies where you can find the job of
Pharmacist,
Production Executive,
Chemist,
Medical Transcriptionist,
Technical Supervisor,
Quality Analyst etc.

The job of Medical Representative is very popular. You can also go for government sector.

Now it depends on you that which course you choose..

Pharmaceutical is a fast growing industry. Pharmacy is one of the main disciplines under Biomedical Science and the pharmaceutical industry. There are many disciplines within the biomedical sciences.

A degree in Pharmacy makes you eligible for employment in various drug, chemical, biotechnology and healthcare industries and to start your own business

Also after doing Pharm.D, you can be registered pharmacist all over the world.

After finishing diploma successfully in pharmacy, one will be registered as pharmacist by PCI (pharmacy council of India).

One will receive a license to open a medical store & one can practice as registered pharmacist.

In the country, there are a lot of companies in the pharmaceutical sector which provides job opportunities to the D.Pharm candidates.
