As you want I am here giving Difference between Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy courses. Bachelor of Pharmacy Pharmacy is the art and science of preparing and dispensing drugs and medicines Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy enables the candidate to practice the profession of a Pharmacist. Duration : 4 year. Eligibility: Applicant have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology as subjects. Applicant must secure at least 50% marks Doctor of Pharmacy: Doctor of Pharmacy is a Professional Pharmacy Doctoral Programme. Doctor of Pharmacy Programs focused on theory, penetrative laboratory experiments and motivated research projects. Duration : Pharm.D – Duration :5 years + 1 year of internship/residency. Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) – Duration : 3 academic years which include 2 years of study and 1 year of internship or residency as per PCI Eligibility: For Pharm.D (6 year course): Applicant must pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the subjects of Mathematics or Biology. Applicant must pass in D.Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India under section 12 of The Pharmacy Act. For Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate): Applicant must the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. |
