The objective of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan is to identify technologies for the uplifting of weaker section of the society and to make people aware about the science and scientific means through which scientific activities could be promoted in the state.

The main focus is on dissemination of useful knowledge in the various fields of Science & Technology for the betterment of the society, especially the backward and Rural Masses of the State.
