Sastra University for B.Tech course admission details are as given below:

B.Tech

Eligibility;
The Candidate must have passed in class XII or any equivalent examination as recognized by state or central education board.

He must have passed in math and physics in qualifying exam as compulsory subjects.

It is needed to pass in Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology as one of the optional subjects.

The Candidate must score a minimum percentile of 60% aggregate in physics, math and chemistry.

Selection Process
70% of the candidates will be chosen on the basis of performance in JEE Main entrance and class XII exam conducted by education board.

Application Fees
Pay Rs.600 in person and Rs.650 by demand draft.

Qualifying examination

12th or equivalent exam must be passed in 2015 or 2016
Candidates appearing in the +2 or equivalent exam in 2020 are also eligible.


Main subjects

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be the main subject in 12
Applicant must have at least 5 subjects in 12th or equivalent exam.

Number of attempts

Only 3 attempts are given to the candidates.

Diploma holders

Diploma (3 years) holders are qualified to apply.

Age

Applicants must be born on or after 01 October 1992 for general category
01, October 1987 for SC, ST and OBC category.
