The Allahabad Bank is a nationalised bank and headquartered in Kolkata. The bank is salary to PO candidates as per IBPS rules.

The bank was founded 150 years back in 1865. The bank has its 2,500 branches all over India and one of the overseas branch in Hong Kong and a representative office in Shenzhen.

Allahabad Bank pays lucrative salary packages to its employees and also to the beginners.

Probationary Officer gets recruited as an officer and work under probation period for at least 2 years. PO undergoes training during the probation period for 2 years.

Once they finish their probation period they get promoted to Assistant manager or any other suitable designation from probationary officer.

Allahabad Bank PO salary ranges between Rs. 15,000 Rs. 26,000 and the consolidated salary can be approx Rs. 30,000 Rs. 32,000 (including allowances).
