Rural Weightage Claimed In UPSEE

Hi I how much reservation is claimed or that is there weight age percentage for the students of the rural background for the UPSEEE exams ??

Well to the best of my knowledge there is 3% reservation for those who have done their schooling from rural areas of U.P under the condition that they are not benefited from any other form of reservation .


For this purpose, the colleges or institutions must be located within Gram Panchayat jurisdiction.

Moreover the particular rural region shouldn’t be an industrially developed territory.

You have to come up with and produce Certificate Number 7 during the counseling

Seats Reservation in the UPSEEE

85% seats filled through UPSEE Entrance Exam

10% seats filled through UPSEE, other state candidate

15% are reserved for management quota ( paid seats )

No Seat will filled by central examination ( like JEE )

5% Seats for NRI Quota

1 seats in every UPTU college for Kashmiri Migrates

Special 3% weight age would be given to students from rural background.
