Rules Of KVPY

I am planning to apply for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and doing preparation of exam. Will you please provide me Exam marking rules of KVPY along with pattern of exam so I prepare well also provide what are the important dates for this exam?

The KVPY test is based on a paper-pencil format which is conducted in two languages i.e English and Hindi at different centre across the country to select students for KVPY fellowship/scholarship.

Exam marking rules of KVPY:

There are no "More than one option correct" type questions in KVPY, in neither of the 3 streams, i.e, SA,SX and SB will you find such questions.
There are 2 types of questions:

1 mark single option correct, here negative marking is -0.25 for every wrong answer.
2 mark single option correct, here negative marking is -0.5 for every wrong answer.

Exam pattern:

Mathematics 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Physics 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Chemistry 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Biology 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
