Is there any requirement of teachers in KV, Chandigarh? What is the selection procedure for teaching jobs?

KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya) of Chandigarh does not have any job requirement recently but in month of February 2014 there were some requirements for different teaching posts including the following:
• Post Graduate Teachers
• Trained Graduate Teachers
• PRT
• Computer Instructor
• German Language Teacher

This is mid session that’s why they do not have job vacancies but in every new session they have job vacancies. May be in next session they will have job vacancy for you so you have to be updated with KV.

Range of Pay:

For PGT: Rs.27500

For TGT: Rs.26250

For PRT: Rs.21250

For Computer Instructor: Rs.21250


Educational Eligibility:

For PGT: MA/ M.Sc. / M.Sc. Computer Science/ M.Tech. /MCA / M.Com with a minimum of 50% marks along with B.Ed degree

For TGT: BA /B.Com /B.Sc. in the concerned subjects and B.Ed along with CBSE CTET passed

For PRT: Intermediate/ Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks along with JBT/B.Ed

For Computer Instructor: BCA/ PGDIT /PGDCA /Diploma in Computers


Selection Process:

The candidates who have required eligibility are called for Interview and selection is completely dependent on Interview and document verification.
