Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) was established in 1998 and is a university for technical and pharmacy institutes in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is among the good Universities in the state and ranked among the top institutes in Madhya Pradesh. It is the 29th largest university in the world in terms of, the number of students enrolled in the university, having some 260,000 students.

It offers undergraduate and postgraduate full time and online courses. They specialize in fields like Management, Forensic Science, Fashion, Engineering, Space Sciences, Social Work, Nanotechnology, Communication and Pharmacy.

The campus of Rajiv Gandhi Technological University is around 241.14 acres in area situated on four lanes Risen - Narsingarh by pass main highway. The major campus consists of plain area and a small part of it is located on hilly terrain.
