Name of Exam:
Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2015

Purpose of Exam:
The Rajasthan JNVU PTET 2015 Examination will be held for admission in B.Ed course in Academic Year 2015-2016.

Age Limit:
The age of the candidate applying for PTET 2015 must be at least 21 years.
For Age Relaxation and Reserved category details, please refer Official Notification.

Academic Qualification:
The candidate must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation with minimum 50% Marks from a recognized university. The candidates who have completed Graduation through Correspondence are NOT eligible for PTET 2015.
5% Relaxation in Degree (UG/PG) will be allowed to Reserved category candidates according to Rules.

Application Fee:
The Application Fee will be around Rs.400/- and it should be paid through eMitra OR CSC Kiosk.

Process of Admission:
The candidates will be selected for admission in B.Ed Program 2015-2016 on the basis of Merits prepared according to Marks obtained in PTET 2015 and Counseling Procedure.

PTET 2015 Exam Pattern:
General Awareness: 50 questions
Teaching Aptitude: 50 questions
Mental Ability: 50 questions
Language Proficiency (Hindi/English): 50 questions
Total Questions: 200 questions
Total Marks: 600 Marks
Time Allowed: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)

PTET 2015 Exam Syllabus:
General Awareness:
Environmental Awareness, Indian History and its Culture, India and its Natural Resources, Great Indian Personalities, Current Affairs of National and International, Knowledge about the State (Rajasthan).

Teaching Aptitude:
Interpersonal Relations, Social Maturity, Leadership, Communication and Professional Commitment.

Mental Ability:
Reasoning, Decision Making, Imagination, Judgement, Drawing Inferences, Generalization and Creative Thinking.

Language Proficiency (Hindi/English):
Structure of Sentences, Vocabulary, Functional Grammar and Comprehension.
