Candidates those have degree of B.Tech have very good scope in IES. They can get a responsible job in IES.

Eligibility
You should be Indian National.

Must have B.Tech/B.E. degree from recognized university.

Final year students are also eligible.

There is no criteria for percentage.

Age limit is 21 to 30 years as on August 1 of examination year.

There is upto 3 years relaxation for OBC.

Maximum of 5 years relaxation for SC and ST.

Exam Pattern of IES Mechanical Engineering:
It is in two part
1.Objective papers 2. Conventional paper

1.Objective papers
General English
General Studies
Mechanical Engineering paper-I
Mechanical Engineering paper-II
2 hours for each exam and 200 marks of each exam.

2. Conventional paper
Mechanical Engineering paper-I
Mechanical Engineering paper-II
3 hours for each exam and 200 marks of each exam.
Conventional paper must be answered in English only.
