Part – I (Annual System)

- History Of Punjab From 1469-1799(Compulsory)

- Any one of the following options
- History Of The World(1500-1870)
- History Of U.S.A. (1860-1973)

- Any one of the following options:
History Of The World(1871-1991)
History Of U.S.S.R. (1861-1991)

- Any one of the following options
History : Theory And Methodology
History Of China And Japan (1839-1950)

Part - II

- History Of Punjab From 1799-1947 (Compulsory)

- Paper-II, III & IV : Any One Of The Following Groups


Group-A: Ancient India

- History of Ancient India from the Earliest Times to Kanishka.

- History of India from the Down fall of the Kushan empire to 1000 A.D.

- Study of Institutions: Social, Cultural and Economic.


Group-B :Medieval India

- Delhi Sultanate (1000-1526 A.D.)

- History of the Mughals (1526-1707 A.D.)

- Study of Institutions: Social, Cultural and Economic.



Group-C :Modern India

- History of India from 1707-1818.

- History of India from 1818-1947.

- National Movement and Constitutional Development in India from 1858 to 1947
