PTU Affiliation Cancelled

There is rumor about the Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar (PTU ) that high court barred from admitting candidates in distance Programmes offered until it has got affiliation from IGNOU . Till the recognition of Punjab technical university is cancelled by UGC . What is the reality ?
