Hello sir would you please give me information about Project Utkarsh that is supported by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation? And also tell me when this project was launched?

Project Utkarsh was launched on 2012-05-02 and it is supported by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

AROH Foundation had started this project….. AROH Foundation is a leading national-level NGO.

The Project had started a new initiative called Utkarsh at Geleki Gram panchayat in Nazira, Sibsagar district, Assam.

The objective of this project is to bring about Socio-Economic Development in the selected six villages of Geleki Gram Panchayat, viz., Athkhel, Athkhel Grant 1, Smitpur Grant, Geleki Jungel, Geleki Grant 1 and Grant 2, through Skill Development.

Under this project 400 rural poor has been trained in various trades which can lead to better income generation to alleviate the poverty
