Railway Driver is executing the huge task of transporting nearly 17 million passengers and more than two million ton of fright daily with the help of 2,25,000 wagons, 45,000 coaches and more than 8300 locomotive engines of different kinds.

Eligibility

1. Educational Qualification
Applicants should be at least Matriculate plus ITI course in specified trades

2. Age

Minimum age of the aspiring Applicants should be 18 years and maximum age limit is 30 years.

Procedure

Step 1
Applicants has to apply for the competitive exam to be held for the job whenever declared by any of the 17 RRBs of different zones in the Indian Railways.

Step 2

After qualifying the RRB exam (consisting of nearly 150 questions on G.K, Aptitude, Mathematics and General English) held for the post of Railway Driver and obtaining the necessary training begins his career as a diesel or electric loco assistant driver, where his job is mainly to check the state of the locomotive, help with all the auxiliary equipment as needed

Salary
The pay scale starts from approx. Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000.

Every candidate who is interested in train driver job they want to require their graduation first. For Indian train driver candidates should have to qualify written exam for this job.

To become an Engine Driver in Indian Railways one has to apply for the competitive exam to be held for the job whenever declared by any of the 17 RRBs of different zones in the Indian Railways.

After clarify the written exam candidates are invited for the training of railway driver post.

RRB written exam consisting of 150 questions on G.K, Aptitude, Mathematics and General English.
For the post of Railway Driver and getting the necessary training one usually begins his career as a diesel or electric loco assistant driver, where his job is mainly to check the state of the locomotive, help with all the auxiliary equipment as needed, and to call out the aspects of the signals.

An assistant driver works as an assistant on goods trains, then on passenger trains, and finally on express trains.

Friend I am telling you that There is No Special Courses for Railway Driver, But you have to Complete ITI to Become a Railway Driver.

Eligibility to be an Engine Driver
