Hello, here I am providing you the procedure of admission in the undergraduate course of NIFT as under:

About the institute:
National Institute of Fashion Technology was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.

Admission procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the NIFT entrance exam scores
Candidates will be invited for the GD and interview
The merit list will be made on the basis of NIFT entrance exam score, GD and interview

Important dates:
Online registration starts: 20th Oct. 2015
Online registration closed: 10th Jan. 2016
Online registration closed (with late fee as Rs.5000/-): 16th Jan. 2016
Admit card issue: 21st Jan. 2016
NIFT examination holds on: 14th Feb. 2016
Date of GD and PI: April – May 2016
Declaration of final result: May – June 2016
Counselling: June 2016 onwards

Eligibility:
Candidates need to have the age above 17 years
Candidates need to have the +2 degree from the recognised board.
