Criteria for admission in NIFT after 12th class without Maths

I have completed 12th with PCB and now want to take admission in Fashion Designing Course so please tell me about eligibility criteria of NIFT? I am eligible for this course or Maths is essential?

Fashion Designing is very attractive and creative course. If you have creativity and ability for unique imagination then you are able to do this course. In this course there is no need to complete your 12th with any specific subject. Maths is not necessary to join this course, students from various fields can join this course so you are also eligible but you have to meet the eligibility criteria of NIFT’s graduation courses.

NIFT offer Bachelor Program “Bachelor of Desing” or “B. Des.” in various filed including Fashion Designing and “Bachelor of Fashion Technology” or “B.FTech”.


Eligibility criteria for B.Des:

Candidate must have completed 10+2 from recognized Board or having 3 years diploma from college which is recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

Maximum age: 23 years.


Eligibility criteria for B.FTech:


Candidate must have completed 10+2 from recognized Board or having 3 years diploma from college which is recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

Maximum age: no age limit

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a group of fashion colleges in India. It was established in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India

As you asking I am telling there are two types of Degree courses offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT) which you can take after passing your 10+2/Inter.

These courses are :-
Bachelor degree in Design (B.Des).
Bachelor degree in Technology (B.Tech).

Qualification required for B.Des Course
Applicants minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out in any discipline from recognized university/board.
Applicants minimum marks should be 50% in 10+2 level.
Applicants compulsory subject in 10+2 level should be English.

Qualification required for B.Tech Course
Applicants minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out with science discipline from recognized board/university.
Applicants should have Mathematics paper in 10+2 level.
Applicants compulsory paper in 10+2 should be English.
Applicants minimum marks in 10+2 level should be 60%.
